Coring Field Service Coordinator (Oil & Gas) - Angola

CA Oil & Gas are currently seeking a Coring Field Service Coordinator for one of our clients operations in Angola.

Job Responsibilities
• In conjunction with the client geology and drilling teams planning coring programs,
• Provide regular technology updates for the  client’s reservoir evaluation team
• Ensuring equipment is maintained and in serviceable condition at all tims
• Co-coordinating crew movements for coring jobs
• Management of Angolan  coring financial performance
• Reordering of consumables
• Monthly reporting of financial and operational performance
• Assist in preparing annual and quarterly budgets
• Participate in offshore coring operations as required
• Ad-hoc visits to Luanda to provide technical support for Luanda based coring activities
Qualifications
• Minimum 5years experience as lead core hand – preferable in an offshore environment
• Posses all  relevant health and offshore survival certificates (or be capable of obtaining these)
• Current drivers licence
• Strong familiarity with all forms of rig site core preservation
• Self motivated with excellent organizational skills
• Good English language skills
• Numerical literacy
• Demonstrate competency with MicroSoft Office products
• University  degree in geology or engineering
