District Engineer (Cementation & Well Services) - Equatorial Guinea

CA Oil & Gas are currently seeking an experienced District Engineer for one of our clients operations in Equatorial Guinea.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Engineering or Chemical qualification preferred, with relevant experience in an oil field cementing environment.
Minimum 5 years experience in Cementing offshore, designing deepwater cementing jobs, etc
Capable of Computer Aided Job Design and Evaluation for Cementing (CemFacts).
• Good working knowledge of cement lab equipment and procedures.
• A strong commitment to team work is essential.
• Excellent customer relationship and good capabilities for customer presentations
Candidates should be committed to Quality and HSE issues.
• Ability to work and contribute in a team environment.
• Knowledge of downhole tools would be advantageous.
Main Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepare written recommendations and technical proposals for customers.
2. Provide daily engineering support to EG clients
Prepare technical proposals for ongoing deep Water Cementing operations
3. Liaise with lab personnel for required testing
Reporting on designs, evaluations, jobs, inventories, etc.
Tracking job and well performance.
4. Chemical Inventory Control
5. Assist manager with finance information and plans.
6. Prepare tenders, technical and commercial sections with relevant P&L analysis.
7. Introduce new technology and upsale current contracts.
8. Ensure QA/QC standards are met.
9. Maintain close liaison with field service personnel and lab personnel by telephone and frequent site visits.
10. Prepare post job reports and follow up with the customer.
11. Assist in preparation of cementing tenders.
12. Assists District Manager with other job requirements such as invoices, deliveries, ordering.

• This position requires an experienced, motivated, proactive and creative engineer to work in a demanding operational environment.
It is a expatriate position in Malabo, EG. (Spanish speaking country)
