Senior Modular Engineer (Abu Dhabi / Korea / Oil & Gas)

CA Oil & Gas Middle East is searching for a SENIOR MODULER ENGINEER for a Large Client specializing in Resources and Energy (worldwide).

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Senior Modularization Engineer required to provide PMC services. 
• Based in the EPC contractors office & / or the fabrication yard and site, responsible for the review of all modularization activities in a PMC role. 
• Reporting to the client via the PMC Project Manager. 
• Responsibilities include follow up and Supervision of module fabrication works and activities, review of Documents ( Design Documents , specifications , TQ’s, Materials Requisitions, Progress certificates , method statements, and or any other documents generated by the EPC contractor )
• Review and comment on performance and methodology of the contractor in executing the works in terms of method, quality and safety. Liaise with operations in ensuring that company specifications and requirements are met.

DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT

• 5 months in the EPC contractor’s office in Ulsan / Korea
• 18 months on Das Island site and in Abu Dhabi project office.

• EPC contractor’s office and fabrication yard in Ulsan / Korea
• Das Island site and in Abu Dhabi project office.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Construction experience in major offshore Gas projects. Experience in the design, construction and commissioning of modules associated with Oil and Gas plants.
• Engineering Degree from a recognized institute.
• 10+ years’ modularization field engineering experience and prior experience working in a PMC role preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of construction activities as they relate to modularization, engineering disciplines, cost and scheduling, and contract administration.
