CA Oil & Gas are currently seeking Pressure Pumping Operator for our clients operations. African nationals will be given priority when applying for the position.
Role Synopsis
Various duties with tools and equipment associated with pumping services for the oil and gas industry. Equipment operators will be responsible for the safety of other employees, the prevention of damage to operating equipment and customer well equipment. This position operates a company vehicle on a daily basis between each district/off site location to deliver products, service tools, and equipment. The operator loads and unloads vehicles as required to maintain service schedules and participates in rigging up pressure pumping equipment on location which includes connecting hoses, high pressure iron etc. to equipment and to the customers well head.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
•operate pumping equipment on a daily basis between each district/off-site location to deliver products, service tools, and equipment
•loads and unloads vehicles as required to maintain service schedules
•participates in rigging up pressure pumping equipment on location which includes connecting hoses, high pressure iron etc. to equipment and to the customers well head
•must meet Equipment Operator I Progression Program requirements
•maintains all required log books and inspection reports to comply with D.O.T. regulations
•completes pre- and post-trip inspections plus fuels and completely services the unit
•performs minor maintenance and housekeeping of vehicle to assure safe and efficient operations, and routine housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean work area
Basic Qualifications
•HS diploma or equivalent required
•ability to maintain a safe driving record and the ability to comply with D.O.T. regulations and health requirements required
•ability to have a reliable source of transportation available required
•ability to safely operate, maintain and perform minor repairs on equipment required
•ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions required
•ability to work efficiently in teams required
•ability to communicate effectively in a courteous manner required
•ability to perform duties in various, sometimes harsh outdoor weather conditions required
