What industry do you work in?

I am working in an oil servicing company that specializes in drilling fluids and engineering services. I have been working in this sector for over eight years’ experience in different positions concerned with drilling fluid, solid control and drilling waste management.

What are your strengths?

Having a lot of patience is one of my main strengths.

What inspired you to get into this sort of industry?

The ambition and patience take you where you want, just focus on your objective and believe that you can do anything you set your mind to.

What is the most challenging aspect within your field of work?

The moment of work under pressure show the real competence.

How do you manage and overcome these challenges?

I keep in mind that this obstacle is just a passage in time and I am to find control over the situation in order to grow and essentially benefit from the situation.

What has been the highlight of your career?

During 2012,I was in Thailand for mud school studies, my company awarded me as the best member in laboratory tests and competency; it was a great moment for me.

If somebody starts as a trainee / beginner within your line of work, what could they earn in salary?

Almost 100 $/ daily.

What can this person expect to earn after 10 years of experience?

Where in Africa have you worked before?

I have worked in Algeria before.

As you know, numerous African countries are being invested in due to their rich minerals. Which country within Africa do you think will be the next hot spot and why?

I think it would be Angola.
