What inspired you to get into the Oil and Gas Industry?
It has always my passion to work in the Oil and Gas Industry.
What is the most challenging aspect within the Oil and Gas Industry?
Ensuring that all personnel, contractors and visitors comply with all safety policies and procedures is a major challenge, as well as having safety induction training and ALL officers on site.
How do you manage and overcome these challenges?
By having regular safety meetings, Inspections and safety talks before any work commences.
What has been the highlight of your career since working in the Oil and Gas Industry?
My career highlight thus far would be working on a site with no incidents or accidents to report.
If somebody starts as a trainee / beginner within your line of work, what could they earn in salary?
This person may earn R1800.00 per day depending on the arrangement between employee and employer.
What can this person expect to earn after 10 years of experience?
He or she may earn up to R7000.00 per day.
What advice can you offer people who are in the same industry as you?
Stay focused, don’t take short cuts. Always put safety first.

I have worked in Algeria’s Oil and Gas Industry.
