Construction Manager Responsibilities

The right construction manager will be responsible for ensuring the plant project construction activities, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, and for supervising multidisciplinary construction works according to the contract requirements and project objectives.

The potential Construction Manager will also need to ensure targets (time, cost, safety, and quality) are met through direct coordination and management of the construction team, interfacing with project organization and provide support in monitoring and updating project execution plans.

Construction Manager Requirements

The right Construction Manager will need to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. It is of great importance for the right candidate to have strong prefabrication skills.

This role requires the Construction Manager to participate in defining the overall project planning and scheduling for construction activities. Strong Organisation skills, effective management skill and the ability to be conversant with senior managers in the Oil & Gas Industry is vital for this role.
