Job Description:

  • Document and review the overall maintenance strategy on an annual basis to ensure that it is aligned with the business plan

  • Liaise with other departments toward evaluating new technologies to improve process capabilities, product quality and throughput requirements.

  • 8 years’ Relevant plant, production, operational and maintenance experience; with Project Management, Design and development experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing shift mechanical maintenance activities within the processing plant and with a strong focus on the training and mentoring of local nationals within the team.
  • Ensuring sufficient training is carried out for plant and production KPI’s and maintenance compliance requirements to be met.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • 5 years previous experience in processing plant within the mining industry, including sag mills.

  • Honours in Accounting, Business Science, Investment Management, or equivalent.
  • CFA, CA(SA), or equivalent would be a benefit.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector is highly advantageous.
