The Deck Crew usually consists of a Crane Operator as the team leader and well trained specialists that perform marine or deck related operations revolving around the boarding of equipment, containers and/or personnel to/from the deck. Deck Foreman job details

This major oil and gas project is upon a DP3: Multi-Lay Heavy Lift Construction Vessel, and is currently a short-term project of roughly 4 months. As previously stated, our client is specifically seeking only South African nationals.

Deck Foreman responsibilities

The Deck Foreman will be responsible for daily operations such as Heavy Lift, Installation of Jackets, BOP’s, Cranes and Divers etc.

Deck Foreman requirements

The kind of Deck Foreman that CA Oil & Gas is seeking MUST have obtained an Engineering or Mechanical Engineering qualification with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the offshore Oil and Gas Industry. The Deck Foreman will also need to have a Seaman’s Book, OGUK Medical, OPITO (approved BOSIET) certificate
