CA Oil & Gas has an exciting new Driller job on offer with a leading oil and gas global company.
This position will require operate drilling equipment as instructed in the well program and standing instructions to the Driller (SID) in a manner that complies with the company policies and procedures and the Driller’s Key Responsibilities (actively promote the company’s core values).
Driller Responsibilities
The wanted Driller will be responsible for the operation of all equipment in a safe manner and will need to monitor the well condition at all times (i.e. depth, mud weight, weight on bit.) The viable Driller will be responsible to recognize, interpret and respond to down-hole conditions and will also need to perform drilling-related operations such as directional drilling, working stuck pipe, running and cementing casing strings, coring, fishing, and assisting in wireline logging, well testing, and other special operations. The kind of Driller that CA Oil and Gas is seeking will need to supervise and direct operations in the picking up or laying down of tubular and all drilling-related equipment.
Driller Requirements
- Valid Supervisors Well Control Certification (IWCF)
- Valid BOSIET (or offshore survival) certificate
- Recent OFFSHORE experience
- With 5 years of previous work experience on the Drill floor
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of standards, regulations and requirement within the industry
- Good language skills, both oral and written
Driller Contractual information
This role is a rotational position.
