Responsibilities for the Offshore Installation Manager role is the following:
The Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) is responsible for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all persons living, working and visiting the Installation . Varied responsibilities include ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, guidelines, industry standards and best practice applicable to the area of operation. The Offshore Installation Manager is also in charge of the day-to-day management of the offshore installation and in charge of the health, safety and welfare of persons on or about the installation, including ensuring the maintenance of order and discipline. The right candidate for the role is also responsible for ensuring the Business and HSEQ requirements of the Company are effectively implemented on the Installation.
Requirements for the Offshore Installation Manager role is the following:
The most suitable candidate must have the following
- Consistent track record & minimum 5+ year experience as OIM;
- Valid OIM licence;
- STCW & GMDSS;
- Valid BOSIET (or offshore survival) certificate;
- Valid Medical Valid IWCF Subsea Supervisor;
- Recent experience working on a JACK UP;
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Knowledge of standards, regulations and requirement within the industry;
- Fluent English language skills, both oral and written
