One of our Consultants – Ishrafiel Johaardien (or Ish as he prefers to be called) – is a Senior Consultant for the CA Oil & Gas company (a subsidiary of the CA Global Headhunters Group). Ish has been at CA Global for 5 years, honing his technical recruiting skills. He has experience in recruiting for technical jobs in Africa, for the Oil & Gas sector, Engineering sector and the Mining Sector. If you come from the any of these sectors, then you would know that these are quite technical jobs and can get quite confusing if you don’t actually know what the terms entail.

Our client is a leading Commodity Traders conglomerate with 20 years’ extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry as well as a decade of International Trade experience.
They are currently expanding their office in Cape Town and have asked Ish to reach out to his Oil & Gas and Petrochemical networks and assist them with filling 16 positions in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa.

Fuel Sales Consultant (10 positions available)
This job is available in Cape Town and Johannesburg
Responsibilities:
- Source new clients and penetrate sales in the region
- Attend and participate in trade shows
- Network with relevant stakeholders and promote the company and its products
- Monitor the market and its current trends
- Conduct client visits
- Process customer orders
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Preferred)
- 3 – 5 years’ experience dealing with the sale of fuel / crude products
Senior Fuel Trader (5 positions available)
This job is available in Cape Town and Johannesburg
Responsibilities:
- Purchase and sale of gas and other fuels
- Monitor fuel levels and report back on needs or excesses
- Conduct market analysis to identify fluctuations in terms of cost and availability of the commodity
- Coordinate, track and report on the status of the performance of the commodity portfolio
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers, service providers and trade groups
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification
- Minimum 5 – 8 years’ relevant experience in Fuel / Crude Products Commodity trading
Fuel Sales Team Leader (1 position available)
This job is available in Johannesburg but requires occasional travel to Cape Town
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a relevant sales strategy and ensure that the Sales Team adheres to it
- Ensure that the sales team meets all targets set
- Handling of major key accounts and ensure the Sales Team’s processes run efficiently
- Report on sales activities, competitor markets as well as new business opportunities
- Participate in relevant trade shows
- Conduct regular sales meetings
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification preferred
- Must have minimum 5 years’ experience dealing with the sale of fuel / crude products
- Previous Team Leading experience strongly preferred
