Western Africa

Sub-Saharan Africa has been estimated to contain about 80 billion barrels of oil with 24 billion of this in the Gulf of Guinea West Africa supplies 16% of US oil requirements and this is estimated to increase to 25% by 2015. West Africa unlike the Middle East is less prone to conflict and has higher mineral and hydrocarbon quality makes it more ideal for business relationship building from other countries.
